Don’t let me scroll

One night of doomscrolling, inside the phone. Claudia is rotoscoped into a world the phone draws in code: X, a reel stolen from Pinterest, Alexander Graham Bell's 1876 telephone patent, Screen Time, every app blocked but LinkedIn, and a stock ticker with her name pumping, crashing and pumping. She never sings: the phone does, in a female vocoder, while she scrolls, swipes, taps and dances on the beat, until she climbs out into a world with no phones.

Directed by anabology; production by Claude. The interfaces are drawn in code after X, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Chrome, Facebook and Apple's iOS 26; the patent drawing is Alexander Graham Bell's 1876 telephone patent (US 174,465).

The film

22 frames from the finished cut

ACID FEED: the acid-blur moodboard taken a hundred times further, with BLISS as the template. What she scrolls past smears by its real scroll velocity under small sharp type, and the acid colour is thin-film interference, stirred by her dance. Midway the film finds its grammar, and the opening and the final drop were rebuilt in it: soft grey paper, black Dynamic-Island pills with thin-film colour inside them, Nimbus Sans Bold caps. Every sung word lives on a real app surface: X posts, Screen Time's limit sheet, LinkedIn, Stocks, the Dynamic Island. The feed dresses her: white satin pyjamas in the bedroom, an oversized white shirt over skirts, green mohair, black with a blazer, and a red coat dress for the escape up a wall painted as sky.
